Jenyne Butterfly || This may be my favorite performance by her to date. It’s fascinating to see pole moves reinterpreted to fit the hanging ring. And every time I watch her I am more and more convinced that Jenyne has lyrical quality to her dance compositions. It’s dance, yes. And it’s a sport— athleticism to the max. But she always adds an element of art that few other dancers do.
